Drivers are rude. Actually once I was walking in PL by my aunt's house and there was a tourist who had rented a car and was at the intersection (which is a bit difficult b/c it's a wierd five way), being a tourist and all he was a bit abreeychi. The taxi driver and other cars beep like a bunch of morons, the taxi driver stops in front of the poor tourist and savagely curses the tourist and then drives off. People on the motorways and normal roads need to slow down. There's a lot of DWI in Mauritius too. The cops need to stop sleeping whenever you pass by them on the motorway. Plus I haven't looked into it but what are the penal consequences of such craziness. Three main issues here for a while now. Deterrence: are people being punished enough ?
